by directing her own energy in such a way that it benefits her strength, agility and speed albeit not by excessive amounts.
- Energy absorption from sources in the environment or mutant powers
- Energy conversion and manipulation in her favor, either for offensive or defensive uses.
-Conversion of energy can either be used for offensive attacks or rejuvenation of her own energy.
-Amber mostly relies on converting her own kinetic energy for a wide variety of uses, e.g. small aesthetic tricks like creating a golden shimmer in the air, able to convert it into an offensive attack via energy expulsion in whatever pliable form that fits the occasion, creating a protective shield, etc.
WEAKNESS:
- She can only absorb the energy up to beta mutant abilities
i.e. if a mutant attacks her with pyrokinetic abilities, she's able to draw energy from the heated molecules and convert it for her own abilities.
- Absorbing energy from Omega mutants can kill her as it's too much for her system to fully convert and the excess simply destroys her.
- Absorbing a power does not allow her to use it in the same way, it can only be converted into a pure form of energy appearing as a golden hued variation of her own ability.
-Converting energy from mutant attacks decreases the initial damage it was intended with.

Her dark brown eyes compliments her flawless skin and she prefers her natural beauty above cosmetic aids to enhance her features. When in battle she wears dark armor and a golden band over her upper arms shaped in an x to identify her alliance to the x-men.

Amber is extremely focused on her goals and passions with her main focus being young mutants who need all the guidance they can get. She’s passionate about her kind and the good they can do for the world. Amber has a deep loyalty to those she cares about, she would die before she betrayed those close to her. Among other things, Amber is also highly intelligent with a thirst for knowledge. Negative traits: At times, Amber can be overconfident and while it hasn’t led to something terrible yet it has the potential to. While Amber is easily one of the most trustworthy people you’d come to know, she doesn’t find the act of trusting someone else easy by any measure. She’s somewhat shut off about her personal problems and would sadly try to work through them alone.

Born to a very aristocratic family who valued success and family above all else she thrived in school to achieve excellent marks under the close support of her parents. After school she devoted herself to the medical field as a doctor specializing in neural conditions. While she truly thrived in the medical field, Amber felt the need to guide those who were lost more than she felt the desire to heal broken flesh. For a brief while she offered refuge and guidance for mutants who ran from their homes in fear of prosecution. It didn’t take long for her family to shun her for her heroic acts when they didn’t understand the mutant gene.
She grew to love a man who wanted to give her the world but he ended up a reporter who nearly cost her her freedom. He was compassionate towards mutant for the sole cause to uncover a story for the newspaper he worked for. She managed to scare him off but she never loved another man again and her trust in others was broken beyond repair. She seemed lost herself, losing touch with her day job and nearly being discovered by the government for aiding a fugitive until being offered a position at Xavier's School for gifted youngster.
She grew to love the school with an unbroken dedication towards the students. Amber is a perfect example of a hero who would save those she cares for despite the cost of the selfless intentions.
